STUDIO 603 PROJECTS

HIDER ST HOUSE
Alterations & Additions
The Hider Street project is a renovation and addition that carefully balances contemporary functionality with heritage sensitivity. The design frames the original dwelling while introducing a sympathetic yet distinctly modern extension, ensuring a cohesive and respectful response to the streetscape.

CHERLIN HOUSE
New Dwelling
Shaped not by the desire to stand out, but by the land, the light, and the lives it holds. Nestled gently into the slope, it opens inward to a quiet courtyard - a place for pause, conversation, and dappled shade.
Dark timber cladding grounds the form and recedes into the bush setting, while simple gable lines echo the language of the coast. From the street, it’s modest. From within, it expands - generous where it matters, calm in its restraint.
GNOTUK HOUSE

New Dwelling
Gnotuk house balances openness and shelter, creating a sense of calm through considered proportions, soft thresholds, and a deliberate relationship with nature. The elongated form maximizes northern light and views, while a restrained material palette allows the surrounding environment to take center stage. More than just a house, this is a place to dwell, pause, and experience time at a gentler pace.
ALISON HOUSE

Alterations & Additions
This addition was conceived with quiet intent — a restrained intervention that deepens the occupants’ relationship with nature while framing the rhythms of daily life. Modesty in scale belies the richness of experience within: each space is designed to hold moments of pause, outlook, and connection.

WINCHELSEA HOUSE
Alterations & Additions
Conceived as a place for gathering, the Winchelsea House embraces family life and entertainment. Public spaces open generously to the landscape, enriching daily rituals with light, air, and connection. A vaulted ceiling draws the eye upward, while expansive north-facing glazing captures optimal sunlight, elevating comfort and atmosphere throughout the seasons.
