GNOTUK HOUSE
Where two axes meet
A home shaped by light and landscape, where two axes converge to define space and stillness. The narrow form stretches east to west, a deliberate gesture to invite the sun deep within—every room, every threshold warmed by northern light. Spaces unfold along this axis, each moment carefully placed to capture views, embrace shadow, and welcome the quiet rhythm of the day.
Then, a meeting—where movement and rest intersect. A cross-axis grounds the form, anchoring it within the vast openness beyond. Here, the project holds both shelter and horizon, framing the land while allowing the home to breathe. The materiality is soft, restrained—textures that invite touch, a palette that recedes, letting the landscape take its place.
This is slow space, an project of presence. Not just a dwelling, but a place to experience time—to feel the shift of light, the weight of air, the gentle connection between structure and earth.
